Mark Davoren - Managing Director Mark has 12 years' commercial experience in training design and development, programming and database systems as well as extensive experience in user training, interface design, project management and software design. His fourteen years in the industry have involved training, design development, programming and project management. He has a lifelong interest in using computers and technology as communications / learning tools. Mark was one of the founding partners of ResearchPlus ten years ago, with the idea that computers, if used correctly, could bridge the distance between people as well as reduce the time and cost of processing and disseminating information. His MEd in Educational Technology involved a specialisation in the cognitive aspects of designing computer-delivered training, to better understand how people use tools, and hence how to make better tools for them to use. Mark has previous experience in metals, manufacturing and public service. He is known for being an innovator in finding and using appropriate technologies to solve business problems. Mark also serves as a director of various public companies. An accomplished public speaker, Mark is able to draw on a great depth and breadth of practical material to involve his audience, rapidly flesh out a range of ideas and communicate complex ideas and issues in a verbal shorthand which cuts to the core of the issue.
