Portal site: iSport

iSport is a sports management company specialising in the management of junior sports via the Internet.  Its target markets are "mass" sports which have a national or state based controlling hierarchy. ResearchPlus has created the system currently used to administer soccer, netball and cricket as well as other codes, and has built the system in its entirety. 

ResearchPlus inherited a small-scale iSport site and built it into a much larger, more robust, more secure and scaleable database-driven web site with enhanced functionality. Paid for by advertisers, the site provides a mini-portal for amateur sporting organisations. It allows players and administrators to view (and administrators to create and  modify) results, images, news and information for their local club, and to view international news for their chosen sport.

The site has been adapted to deal with different sports with different scoring methods and has been converted for international use (currently available in the UK and Australia).

iSport is in the Top 50 most visited Internet sites in Australia and the company is expanding into Europe and the United States on the back of its "best of breed" solution.
